We're officially celebrating tonight, but had birthday cake with our neighbors last night and a fun outing to the Sungai Buloh nurseries this morning.
Sungai Buloh is located about 15 minutes outside of KL and was once the largest leper colony in the British colonies. They planned it as a "garden city" with the idea of separating lepers in a self-sustaining community. Now, it is home to a collection of nurseries -- mostly Chinese -- and makes for a a very fun and cultural outing (and you would not believe how inexpensive the beautiful plants and flowers are!)
