Wat Pho and Snow Town!

We have tried to squeeze in a lot of fun in this last week of Christmas Break! We were finally able to visit Wat Pho -- a temple complex near the Grand Palace and is one of Bangkok's oldest, built in the 1600s. It is known for the Temple of the Reclining Buddha -- a statue that was even larger than I had imagined. Definitely a sight to see!

On the way home that night, we passed by the Hua Lamphong Railway Station and got to see the New Year's lights in full effect!:)

And then for a complete change of pace, we checked out Bangkok's new SnowTown at the nearby Ekamai Gateway Mall. It was a lot of fun and gave the kids a chance to build a snowman and sled a just a bit!:)
