We are so excited to have Hilary Timmerman (a family friend from Illinois) visiting Malaysia for the week! She is shadowing Jonathan a bit at work, but also taking in the sights and sounds around KL. She arrived on Sunday and we took a trip to Malacca yesterday. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time...including floral rickshaw rides, visits to the Old Portuguese Fort and reconditioned pirate ship, sampling Chinese/Malaysian street food and shopping along Jonker Street. Addie's highlight was her chance to hold a python and orange iguana outside of the fort...I have no idea where she got that bravery?
