We just returned from three nights/four days with some good friends at Ruby's Resort...a dog and family-friendly resort on the east coast of Malaysia, near the town of Cherating. It was wonderful and the kids absolutely loved it....sand, waves, crab-hunting, sea turtle sanctuary and campfires. Surprisingly, it reminded me so much of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and the highlight of the weekend just might have wearing a sweatshirt for the first time since moving here! :)
Chip had a ball...I already can't wait to take him back. The only downside was that Jonathan was still wrapping up his work trip to Boston and couldn't join us (...and I think it will be quite some time before I sign up for another beach/camping trip with 2 kids, 1 dog and + 0 husband!) :)
