One more thing....I think I have mentioned Addie’s popularity here in India to many of you (and to be fair - that popularity extends to pretty much any white toddler).I have yet to figure out if it is based on some Hindu superstition or merely just their high regard for children; regardless, I wanted to share this video clip caught by Carrie and Ryan while they visited.If I had a rupee for every time someone asked for her picture, let me assure you that our Christmas flights home would be paid for!
Jen, this is Mick - Carrie's friend. Gotta love the way she just pops in to a picture! Anyway, I read a book about India and the cultures/religions. In some areas/religions the lighter the skin a child/person has the more intelligence or wisdom they are said to carry. This also is said for broad or big noses, but in Addie's case I would guess it is the skin. Congrats on the new addition. I will pray for a healthy and blessed pregnancy.
