After a four month-hiatus from blogging -- and wonderful summer spent in the U.S. with family and friends -- we are back in Bangkok and I'm taking advantage of an extremely rainy, monsoon Sunday afternoon to finally update!
Our summer was just wonderful and included some great family time and American memories. We spent most of the time at the farm (IL) and at Piatt Lake (MI), with a few side trips to Youngstown, Indianapolis and Nashville. We even squeezed in a few special first-time experiences with Addie and Abe's Mt. Rushmore visit with Grandma and Grandpa Hartzler and Addie's week spent at Upper Peninsula Bible Camp. As always, we returned to Bangkok just in time for the start of school with overflowing suitcases and full hearts.

Oh man ... how I miss these faces. Maggie just walked in and saw the first picture and said "That's such a cute picture of them!"
