Jonathan's birthday dinner -- costumes required!:)
We celebrated Jonathan's birthday last week (last year in his 30s!) and then enjoyed a quick get-away to the mountains of Khao Yai -- a national park in central Thailand about 3 hours away from Bangkok. We had such a great time!
We stayed at Lala Mukha Tented Resort and loved it! Camping with all the amenities (including aircon and full bathroom). It was beautiful!
And we spent a day hiking in the national park (complete with leeches and various wildlife...including a large rat snake on our trail!) and then enjoyed some go-karting and a quick stop for some homemade ice cream at Thailand's largest dairy, Chokchai Farms. Such a memorable trip!

That first picture makes me laugh!! Love it. You guys were troopers with the leeches ... I just kept thinking about the movie - Stand By Me!!
