Happy New Year from Ayutthaya, Thailand!
On New Year's Day, we joined some friends for a day trip to Ayutthaya -- UNESCO World Heritage ruins dating back to 1350 A.D. and the home of thirty-five kingdoms in Thailand's history. It was only about a 1.5 hour drive from Bangkok and pretty amazing! The kids enjoyed the cooler temperature, the wide open spaces and the lovely decorated elephants parading about the city...such a great way to kick off 2015!
