This past weekend, we were able to spend a pre-Christmas weekend on the island of Koh Chang, on the eastern edge of the Gulf of Thailand near the Cambodian border. It's name means "Elephant Island" and it was just as beautiful and tranquil as we had hoped. The highlights for the kids were the elephant trekking, waterfall 'cliff' diving and hanging out on the beach....who knew that an ocean front rope swing could provide hours of entertainment?

While we are very thankful for our tropical Christmas, we are certainly missing home this week...and 'dreaming of a white one'! Merry Christmas to you all from Thailand -- we send our love to you!
