We left on December 26th to join our dear friends the Roushes on the Indonesian island of Lombok. Lombok is a neighbor to Bali, although much quieter and more rural. It is known for surfing and snorkeling and the kids got a chance to do both. We loved it!
To spend five days with Luke, Brooke, Sam, Molly and Annie was such a gift! Apart from a stomach bug that worked its way through our group, we had a great time and loaded up with enough memories until our next SE Asian excursion.
And now we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of my parents! They land on Saturday night and I can't think of a better way to kick off 2014!
