We enjoyed the "tallest roti tissue" in KL this past weekend with the Poons! Roti tissue is a very thin version of Malaysia's famous flatbread, roti (bread) canai, but then is flattened and rolled into a cone-shape. They finish it off with a layer of sweetened condensed milk and sugar -- Malaysia's very own funnel cake (although, it doesn't hold a candle to the Indiana State Fair's). It is also referred to as "roti helicopter" and is definitely one of the more creative-looking Malaysian foods. I will say that it was much taller than I expected and Addie and Abe were quite impressed!
And here's a quick picture of Addie and Abe after school today, wearing their Bangkok duds that Daddy brought back for them. Go Bangkok Panthers! :)
