Addie's school celebrated Chinese New Year on Friday -- with a lion dance assembly! Lion (and dragon) dances can be seen everywhere during the New Year festivities in Asia -- both for entertainment at the malls or in front of Chinese businesses to "ward off the evil spirits and usher in the New Year". Here is a picture I found online to give you an idea. They are quite a sight to see!
