We are back in Bangalore after a refreshing 4-day trip to Manila----which at 8 months pregnant and a 2-year old in tow is quite an answer to prayer! We stayed in Quezon City, which happens to be one of the prime shoppings hubs in the city and I'm happy to report that there were 2 mega-malls and dozens of American fast food chains nearby our hotel (there were even 3 Starbucks within walking distance!). Jonathan's accreditation visit went very well and most importantly, our visas were stamped allowing us 6 more months in India before needing to leave the country again. Addie was a trooper with all the traveling and time zone shifts and her favorite new word is "Jeepney"---the souped up jeeps that serve as city taxis in the Philippines. Here are a few pictures!
