Peaceful Pondicherry

We just returned from a three-day trip to Pondicherry----a French settlement located on the eastern coast of India----and found it to be as peaceful and picturesque as promised! Our original plan was for Wynn and Bonnie to join us, but unfortunately, Bonnie came down with a stomach bug on the day we were supposed to leave and because the journey involved a 7-hour bus trip to and from, she and Wynn graciously offered to stay behind with Addie. We had a great time and here are just a few of the pictures we snapped while there (including a few of our "elephant blessing")----it was definitely a memorable trip!

On another note, Wynn and Bonnie left this morning for their 23 hour return trip to Upland. We are so thankful for their visit and the time we had together in Bangalore. Addie has spent the morning looking for "Gallie" and "Grandy"---we miss you already! :)
